The Menehunes Visit Disneyland Park – Part 2

Today’s video is the continuation of Kyndra and Eli’s visit to Disneyland Park. It is the first of two theme parks built at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, opened on July 17, 1955. It is the only theme park designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney. First, Kyndra and Eli rode the Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin. Then, they saw Woody signing an autograph. After that, they took the Jungle cruise where they saw the angry baboons and the wild gorillas. Then, they went to the many adventures of Winnie the Pooh. After seeing Winnie the Pooh’s adventure, they watched the parade of the Disney characters like Dumbo, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Chip & Dale, Genie, Aladdin, Abu, Ariel, Donald Duck, Simba, Tiana, Louis, Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Tinkerbell. In addition to that, they also went to Autopia and last but not the least, they watched an awesome fireworks display. It was truly an awesome day for Kyndra and Eli.

In this video, Kyndra and Eli explored Downtown Disney. It is an outdoor shopping center located at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It opened in 2001 as part of an expansion of the resort from one theme park (Disneyland) to a multi-park resort complex. It is an interesting place to visit because you’ll see lots of awesome stuffs like the incredible Hulk, Aladdin and friends, Cinderella castle, Beauty and the Beast, Darth Vader, giant Lego block, Lego Ninjago and Buzz and Wood on a rocket. You can also visit the Lego store and Anna and Elsa’s Boutique.

In this video, Kyndra visited the Yellow Cab Pizza Co. in Hawaii. It is a Filipino chain that retails fast food, primarily pizza. The restaurant also operates 145 branches in Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and China. Kyndra interviewed Ms. Maly San Luis the owner of the Yellow Cab Pizza Co. After that, she introduced the food she ordered like Hawaiian, Pizza New York’s Finest, Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta, Chopped Salad, Ricotta Cheese and Roasted Garlic Dear Darla. Yellow Cab Pizza Co. serves chicken wings with different flavors like Garlic Parmesan, Hot Wings, BBQ, Sriracha, Chipotle and Cheese Jalapeño. It also has different delicious drinks to choose from. The cool thing is that it has a Pepsi spire dispenser. You get a drink of your choice and add some flavor to it. That’s incredibly cool.

Waikiki Beach Sunset Time with The Menehunes

In this video, The Menehunes explored the beautiful Waikiki Beach. It is a beachfront neighborhood of Honolulu, on the south shore of the island of Oʻahu, in Hawaii, United States. The name Waikīkī means spouting fresh water in the Hawaiian language, for springs and streams that fed wetlands that once separated Waikīkī from the interior. You can do surfing, canoe paddling, snorkeling, swimming, boogie boarding, sand combing, catching a golden tan, people watching, or marveling at a few beautiful Waikiki sunsets. Koko and Buddy had fun playing and exploring the Waikiki Beach. They did so many fun activities like stone skipping, catching fishes, and watching the sun set and other games.

The Menehunes at Tokyo Disneyland

In this video, The Menehunes explored Tokyo Disneyland. It is a 115-acre theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, near Tokyo. It was the first Disney Park to be built outside the United States, and it opened on 15 April 1983. The park was constructed by Walt Disney Imagineering in the same style as Disneyland in California and Magic Kingdom in Florida. The park has seven themed areas: the World Bazaar; the four classic Disney lands: Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland; and two mini-lands: Critter Country and Mickey’s Toontown. Many of these areas mirror those in the original Disneyland as they are based on American Disney films and fantasies. Fantasyland includes Peter Pan’s Flight, Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, based on classic Disney films and characters. KoKo tried the Splash Mountain ride. I was really cool. Then, he tried eating the Critter Sundae. It is made from mixed berry and milk swirl with MIckey Churro at the Rackety’s Racoon Saloon. After that, he went to Kua Aina. It serves healthy and nutritious meals. And last but least, he went to Total Therapy to get a relaxing foot massage.

The Menehunes at the Seattle Pacific Science Center

In this video, The Menehunes explored Pacific Science Center. It is a science museum located in Seattle, Washington and designed by Minoru Yamasaki for the 1962 World’s Fair in Seattle. It teaches children and adults about environmental stewardship, wetland ecology and nature awareness. The Menehunes enjoyed the exhibits there. First was the Outdoor Exhibits. Koko walked in the giant water wheel in Water Works. After that, they visited the Insect Village. They saw some giant robotic insects, live animal displays and arthropods. Next was the Animal exhibit, they discovered live creatures of all kinds, like reptiles, amphibians and mammals, including a colony of East African naked mole rats. Next destination was the Tropical Butterfly House. They enjoyed year-round sunshine in the Tropical Butterfly House! In temperatures of low 80s and 60-70% humidity, watched exotic butterflies fly, sun themselves and feed among tropical flowers and saw new butterflies emerge in the chrysalis viewing window. Last but not least was the Dinosaurs exhibit entitled A Journey Through Time. They met dinosaurs from the Mesozoic Era and saw how animatronic dinosaurs work. It was a great educational adventure for the Menehunes!

The Menehunes at Seattle Pier and Pikes Place Market

In this video, The Menehunes went to Seattle Pier. It is also known as Pier 57, originally Pier 6. It is located in Seattle, Washington near the foot of University Street. Currently under private ownership, the pier is now a tourist attraction with gift shops, tourist attractions, and restaurants. Koko and Buddy saw Ellenos Real Greek Yogurt, Pikes Place Market and Captain America’s Bike ride. In addition, they rode the famous Seattle Great wheel. It is a giant Ferris wheel with an overall height of 175 feet (53.3 m); it was the tallest Ferris wheel on the West Coast of the United States when it opened on June 29, 2012. Each car of the Ferris wheel can accommodate 8 people and you can ride it up to three times. The ride costs 13 dollars for teens and 15 dollars for adults. It was a great ride for the Menehunes.

Another Day In Seattle with The Menehunes

In this video, The Menehunes explored Seattle. First, they went to Westlake Park. It is a 0.1-acre (400 m2) public plaza in downtown Seattle, Washington, USA. They enjoyed playing exciting games like the Zorb ball, shooting game, ladder golf and the fun climbing structure. They got some free healthy and nutritious bananas from the Community Banana Stand. After that, they went to the playground and had fun there. They loved and tried all the playground equipment. And last but not the least; they visited the Pikes Place Market. It is a public market overlooking the Elliott Bay waterfront in Seattle, Washington, United States. The Market opened August 17, 1907, and is one of the oldest continuously operated public farmers’ markets in the United States. The Market is built on the edge of a steep hill, and consists of several lower levels located below the main level. Each features a variety of unique shops such as antique dealers, comic book and collectible shops, small family-owned restaurants, and one of the oldest head shops in Seattle. The upper street level contains fishmongers; fresh produce stands and craft stalls operating in the covered arcades.

Kyndra at the Seattle Aquarium – Part 1

In this video, Kyndra went to the Seattle Aquarium. It is a public aquarium opened in 1977 and located on Pier 59 on the Elliott Bay waterfront in Seattle, Washington, USA. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). The aquarium promotes marine conservation and instructs over 800,000 visitors each year, including 50,000 students, to learn about their impacts on marine life. Kyndra saw lots of beautiful fishes. In addition, she saw the Window on Washington Waters. It is a 120,000-US-gallon (450,000 l) tank created as part of the 2007 expansion. It is meant to replicate the coastal waters of Washington state from about 5 to 60 feet (1.5 to 18.3 m), and feature native marine life including salmon, rockfish, and sea anemones. There are dive shows which take place several times a day. Divers wearing special masks are able to converse with visitors. Aside from that, Kyndra also saw some star fish, sea urchins, white moon jellies, the giant octopus and the octopus exhibit. It was a fun-filled adventure!

In this video, the Menehunes visited the Richard T. Mamiya Science Adventure Center at the Bishop Museum. It’s a 16,500-square-foot, three-floor gallery that opened in November 2005, offers a number of interactive and hands-on exhibits for children to explore Hawai’s unique natural environment.The Menehunes saw the giant volcano. It’s a realistic-looking volcano “erupts” several times a day, spewing what looks like hot molten lava. Furthermore, they also saw some preserved animals and insects like butterflies, Wekiu Bug and the Wolf Spider. The adventure was very educational.

In this video, the Menehunes joined the Seattle Hawaii Festival 2016. It was held at the Seattle Center. This festival lets you experience the cultural roots and contemporary influences of Hawaii through live performances like the Hula Kahiko Kawika (Hawaiian traditional dance) and great music from other musicians. In addition, this event also has lots of food trucks like Ohana BBQ, PAC ISLAND GRILL and Sam Choy’s Poke to the Max. The Menehunes ate Ahi Tuna Poke Salad and Aloha Chicken from Sam Choy’s Poke to the Max. Furthermore, this event has awesome playground for the kids and great Hawaiian goodies.

In this video, the Menehunes went to the Vertical World in Seattle. It is the America’s First Climbing Gym that provides a unique training facility and specialized programs for youth and adults within the communities. Vertical World accommodates a variety of offerings beyond just programs to learn how to rock climb, but performance and educational programs in fitness, yoga, and custom group events including birthday parties, school or church groups, corporate events, private parties, and youth camps. The Menehunes saw some pictures of Willy Wonkas, the creator of some of our most beloved treats. In this video, the Menehunes visited some beautiful and interesting places in Tokyo Japan during their trip. Then, they visited some train stations like Akasaka Station, Hibiya Station and Taito Station Ameyoko. On their way, they tried the Food themed UFO catcher. After that, they ate some yummy taiyaki. And lastly, Koko got a really relaxing foot massage. It was a memorable trip in Japan.
