Kyndra at the Richard T. Mamiya Science Adventure Center

In this video, the Menehunes visited the Richard T. Mamiya Science Adventure Center at the Bishop Museum. It’s a 16,500-square-foot, three-floor gallery that opened in November 2005, offers a number of interactive and hands-on exhibits for children to explore Hawai’s unique natural environment. The Menehunes saw the giant volcano. It’s a realistic-looking volcano “erupts” several times a day, spewing what looks like hot molten lava. Furthermore, they also saw some preserved animals and insects like butterflies, Wekiu Bug and the Wolf Spider. The adventure was very educational.
